At Vigor Football Club, we don’t just play football, we live it! Based in Nairobi, we are dedicated to nurturing the next generation of football stars while making a lasting impact on the sport in Kenya and beyond.
Our focus is on children and youth aged 3 to 20, providing top-tier training and coaching regardless of background or skill level. We believe football is for everyone, and our inclusive approach ensures that every child has a chance to develop their talent.
More than just a club, we are a movement. Through our pay-it-forward model, fees from paying members help fund a parallel program that supports talented boys and girls from Nairobi’s slums, giving them access to world-class training—free of charge.
With an international perspective, we collaborate with top coaches and developers from Europe to ensure our players receive the best possible training. But it’s not just about skills and techniques; we build character, discipline, and a strong sense of camaraderie among our players.
Behind it all is a passionate team of coaches, staff, and volunteers who are committed to seeing every child grow, both on and off the field. At Vigør Football Club, we’re not just building footballers—we’re shaping future champions.

Position: Club Director Joined Club: 2023 Nationality: DenmarkBen was already a youth football coach when in high school. For decades, Ben has been a board member of various sports and youth clubs and organisations both on national and international levels; in Europe and in Africa. He is committed to taking youth football in Kenya to the next level, with a vision to ensure that the players develop not only their talent but holistically.

Position: Club Head Coach Joined Club: 2023 Nationality: KenyanA qualified football coach and match analyst, Coach Justus Punga brings a wealth of expertise to our team. He excels in organising and analysing training sessions, providing the players with valuable insights to enhance performance. He keeps a diligent record of player progress with a competent, responsible, and innovative approach. He is a skilled decision-maker and possesses excellent communication skills.

Position: Marketing Director Joined Club: 2023 Nationality: KenyanRuth is a seasoned business development professional with astute execution skills in sales, marketing, PR, and communications. She has the dedicated focus necessary to provide clients with the exceptional quality of service. Her background is in Print Journalism, Events and Media Management. Position: Director Joined Club: 2023 Nationality: KenyanIvory Leed has led multiple projects to completion. She takes initiative to seek out new challenges. Though an aspiring medical student, she is enthusiastic about making a change to society. Her experience includes being an ambassador to the European Union Studies and Career Fair in Europe. She is dedicated and committed to making the world a better place. She holds an International Baccalaureate Diploma and a Certificate from African Youth Virtual Academy/ UNICEF on Ending Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). She is passionate about engaging Kenyan youth to grow football talent, especially among young women and girls
